Mori Chawan - The Matcha Bowl
Mori Chawan - The Matcha Bowl
Inspired by the quiet strength of the forest, the Mori Chawan brings the calm of nature into your matcha ritual. Its deep green glaze represents soft moss, shaded leaves, and early morning stillness - a daily invitation to pause.
Each bowl is handcrafted by our friends at @1994.ceramics, where no two are exactly alike. The shape, the curve, the finish — all influenced by the clay, the fire, and the potter’s rhythm. You’ll feel that story in your hands.
Available in two shapes: the oval, roomy for a smooth whisk; and the heart, which offers both comfort and grip — perfect for holding steady as you pour with care.
The built-in spout adds ease, but it’s the intention behind it all that stays with you. This bowl isn’t meant for the shelf. It’s meant for use - again and again, as a quiet companion in your everyday.
Mori means "forest", but here, it also means grounding. Whether you're starting your morning or slowing down in the afternoon, let this bowl remind you to stay rooted 🌿
